I went out to fill the feeders today, and found this little guy wasn't afraid of me. Of course, my camera was on my back, so I slung it around and pulled it out with the macro lens on it. Slowly I moved in, until I was close enough to reach out and touch him (but I didn't do that!). He was rather unfazed by the sound of my 40D's shutter, or by the big black macro lens hood that was bearing down on him. I'm surprised he didn't jump inside of it to get out of the snow!
Click through to Zooomr and click on the magnifying glass to get a closer look. There's a cool looking snowflake on his back that was kind enough to be in the plane of focus.
