Telemark Sunset

I was skiing yesterday afternoon at Thunder Ridge, on my 26 year old Fischer Telemark skis. Rotafella 412 bindings, Asolo Snowfield boots, and Black Diamond adjustable poles completed the equipment package. Old School FTW. My skis are a conversation starter on the lift. At 210cm, they are much longer that what most people are using, and they notice.

The sun set around 5:00 when I was at the very top, where I took these shots. The skiing was great, and I thought reasonable - $30 for 15:00 to closing at 21:00.

See you on the slopes!

Noka Joe's Coffee House

On Friday, February 4th, a nice group of locals converged on the Second floor of Noka Joe's. The Semi-Revolutionaries opened the show with their eclectic mix of instruments and unique sound. There were tasty treats and funky seats for everyone...well, ok, there was not a seat for everyone! Next on stage was Marc Black with special guest Don Davis on saxophone. The evening finished with a Q&A about coffee with John Gruosso of Dallis Brothers Coffee.
